Trevino Family Farm is located in Madera, CA. Our farm is a dynamic family project.
Our farm currently consists of 42 acres of certified organic Thompson Seedless grapes for sun-dried raisins. Some of our grapevines were planted in 1920! Workers handpick our fruit and lay it to dry in the sun naturally. We think handpicking yields beautiful raisins. Once dry the raisins are sold to a packing facility where they are washed, destemmed and packaged for sale.
In previous years, we had great fun growing vegetables and fruit, raising pastured poultry and goats and making fruit leather, jam, dried tomatoes, trail mix etc. We have ceased production of those items at this time.
What We Grow
The Organic Difference
Our family believes very strongly that natural and organic farming is the most responsible, happiest, best way to healthy humans, healthy animals, and a healthy earth!
Compost, beneficial insects, natural soil additives and sprays derived from plants, minerals or beneficial organisms help our crop grow and fight bad bugs. Everything used is National Organic Program approved and double-checked by an organic certifier before application to the fields. Our farm is our home, so we want it to be safe and free of toxins.
We're always learning how to improve our system to be more sustainable.
